Pre

Argueably the greatest American runner we have ever seen. Steve Prefontaine was loved by the country he ran for. He was born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon where he became a long distance runner. Pre (his nickname) showed amazing talent, and unrivaled discipline. He broke 19 high school records, and at one point held every American record from the 2000 to the 10000 meter. He died at age 24 in a car accident. He always believed in giving everything you have all the time, and to put it all on the line.

These are short but interesting articles on people I never would hear about otherwise! I can't wait for more! :)

I read a book and saw a movie on Steve. It was really interesting and its too bad what happened to him. So much was left for him to accomplish!
